Intervention support in the USA
Addiction does not stop at the border. We help Canadian families with loved ones in the U.S., and American families seeking compassionate, professionally guided intervention support.
Cross-border interventions, handled with care
Many families are separated by the Canada–U.S. border while addiction affects someone they love. Whether your family member is studying, working, or living in the United States, distance should never mean facing a crisis alone. We provide planning, coaching, and, where appropriate, video-guided support so a caring intervention can happen wherever your loved one is.
We also help American families directly, with the same compassionate, culturally sensitive, professionally guided approach to intervention and recovery support.
How we support families across the border
- Planning and rehearsing the conversation across time zones
- Coordinating with U.S. treatment options and travel logistics
- Guidance for families navigating insurance and cross-border care
- Being present by phone or video for the conversation itself
- Safe transport and warm hand-off to ongoing, culturally appropriate care
What to expect
Distance changes the logistics, not the heart of the work. A cross-border intervention still moves through the same clear stages:
- Preparation. We help your family agree on a united, loving message and plan around time zones and travel.
- The conversation. Guided in person or by video, everyone speaks from care, never blame.
- A ready next step. U.S. or Canadian treatment, detox, and travel are arranged in advance so help is waiting when your loved one says yes.
- Ongoing support. Coaching and a warm hand-off to care that continues after the conversation.

Whatever you're facing, a confidential, compassionate conversation is one call away. There's no judgement here, only support.
